John-Kenny currently lives with his mother, his four year old sister, uncle, aunt and grand-parents. His mother sells goods at the local market and earns an average of $70 per month. John-Kenny suffered from malaria and typhoid, and his health remains fragile. He walks  an hour everyday to come to school and the same distance to go back home.

Watson lives with both his parents, 3 older brothers, 4 older sisters, his aunt, uncle and 2 cousins in a 3 room house near the school.

Rood Jerry lives with parents, 3 younger brothers and 1 sister near the school. His mother is a merchatn and his father is unemployed.

Antoine lives with his mother in Port-au-Prince. His mother does not have a steady job and earns an average of $25 per month.

Roscarldine lives with her parents near the school. She was recently sick with Malaria.

Guerlande lives with both her parents, her younger brother and her older sister in a one room apartment near the school. Her mother is unemployed and her father is a religious leader. 

Martine’s father passed a few years ago and she currently lives with her mother and her aunt, who are unemployed,  in a 2 room apartment in the Bel Air area. The meal Martine gets at the school is usually the only meal of her day.

Wiford lives with his mother, 4 brothers and 1 sister in a 2 room house in the Bel Air area.

Stessie lives with her mother who is a street merchant. 

Freedley’s parents are both unemployed and struggle to provide for him. Freedley’s family has been living in a tent since 2010.
